For their whole lives, the sisters Tanya and Michelle have been rescuing animals.
Dogs, cats, birds, snakes,horses, turtles, etc.
Michelle is a medical researcher at the University of Tennessee.
They now have a place where they can take in more animals, rehab them and send them on to their new forever homes. Each animal is like a child, with its own distinct personality.
Transport day is a bittersweet day with the dog or dogs they've spent so much time on leaving. Sometimes they swear they can't do it anymore and here comes a litter of abandoned puppies.
Someone has to do it.
